Updated at 06/11/19 12:35 .

We welcome the Canadian undergraduate students who arrived yesterday, the 10th, at the Faculdade de Enfermagem of Universidade Federal de Goiás.

The Faculty of Nursing at the Federal University of Goiás receives three undergraduate students from Ryerson College - Canada this week. By the end of June, two other students will join the team of foreign students.

This exchange aims to subsidize a research project developed by the Nucleus of Studies in Epidemiology and Care in Transmissible Infections and Injuries to Human Health (NECAIH). The research will investigate the sexual health conditions of the foreign migrant population and refugees from Goiás and to enable the collection of data in the English, Spanish and French foreign languages, the participation of these students will be essential.

The partnership was established between the Canadian tutor, Profa. Margaret S. Zanchetta, PhD, RN (School of Nursing, Faculty of Community Services-Ryerson University Toronto, Canada) and the Professors of the Nursing School Karla Antonieta Amorim Caetano, Sheila Araujo Teles and Leonora Rezende Pacheco. In addition, this exchange is being funded by the Mitacs Globalink Research Research program.
